An Invitation to Christmas Services

And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. (Luke 2:9-11)

There are some events in life that are so wonderful that they seem to eclipse all of our concerns and problems, at least for a time.

During this past year we have witnessed many troubles. But in the midst of this, the announcement that rang out 2000 years ago can still be heard today for those willing to listen.

This message doesn't come with the glitz and glamor typical of those trying to grab your attention. No, your are going to have to look where the world passes by.

During the Christmas season we celebrate that Jesus, the creator of this vast, awe inspiring universe, was born into this world in a most lowly way to solve our deepest need for us, in our place.

Jesus' perfect life, death on the cross, and victorious resurrection took care of it all. Our biggest problem in life has been solved. Living in light of this wonderful news truly stills our fears and cheers our hearts!
